New and Improved Paralysis.org

The Christopher & Dana Reeve Paralysis Resource Center (PRC) premieres three short films on paralysis.org. These are the first of a series of educational films produced by the center.

The videos include:

  • an Overview of the PRC with interviews of people associated with the center, including founder Dana Reeve. (13:12--duration)
  • a report on ways to operate a Computer Hands-Free, using such technology as voice activated software, head mice and mouth sticks. (11:51--duration)
  • a look at the history and utility of Independent Living Centers. (09:48--duration)

 

The films are formatted to stream on paralysis.org.

 

They will also be available in DVD form.

 

The standard technical specifications for viewing the videos are:

-56k modem (although broadband DSL or cable access is preferred)

-Internet Explorer 6

-Flash Video Player (which is already installed on most Internet Explorer versions, but can be downloaded for free by clicking here.

-Windows 2000 or higher
