Letters for Coping, Living, and Advocating After Spinal Cord Injury is
one person's account of life after SCI told through correspondence to

experiences with others so they can avoid or manage the pitfalls of
living with a Disability. She came to Lulu for a quick and easy way to

ABOUT AUTHOR
Mayday May spent the last 10 years as an urban transplant working in
publishing and retail industries. Her most recent experience was
launching an e-commerce site and brand for a publicly-traded retailer
of hipster goods. She graduated from Penn State University with a
Bachelor of Science in Nutrition that she has serious doubts will ever
be put to use. Since her SCI in 2005 she has returned to her small-town
roots and began her personal journey into life after and with chronic
illness. Her life is decidedly not tragic to her, despite her good
looks.
